JONES, Ford
Ford Jones (1865-1907) was born in Brockville, Ontario and became a lawyer in 1892. He first joined the law firm of T.C. Johnstone, and later partnered with A.L. Gordon in Ottawa. He was an avid canoist.
Jones became involved with Major Bell during a land sale that did not go well, and ended with him successfully suing the Major in the Supreme Court of the North-West Territories in 1897.
