MILLS, Thomas - British Photographer
Visited the Bell Farm in September 1893.
Thomas Mills(1849-1922) was a Welsh photographer who travelled with the British agricultural delegates that visited the Bell Farm in Sept 1893. On the ocean crossing to Canada Mr. Mills gave a presentation consisting of photographs he'd taken during his 1890 across Canada tour. At that point Mills had a "copious supply" of Canadian photos- the "Winnipeg Free Press" put that number at 1400.
Mills probably didn't miss the Bell Farm during his first visit and most likely took photos of the Bell and Brassey Farms as well as Indian Head during his second visit. However, none has yet been located.
