Gaye, Dr. Henry Searle - W.C. Furnivall 's brother-in-law
In the fall of 1893, Dr. Henry Searle Gaye (1828-1896) was travelling with his brother-in-law, Willoughby Charles Furnivall, a railway civil engineer and representative of Lord Brassey. During their trip Furnivall was inspecting the condition of various Canadian and American land holdings for Lord Brassey. While In Canada, they stopped off at Indian Head to inspect the Sunbeam and Canadian Alliance Farms.
Although they were in the Bell Farm area, to date there has been no indication that they visited with Major Bell.
