Register entry 299 - Peter R. Richie


Visited the Bell Farm in July 1892 - Peter Reid Ritchie (c1868-1945), a farmer delegate from Essex, was asked by the government to write a report on his impressions of Manitoba and the North-west. He visited the Bell Farm twice during his 1892 visit. Ritchie returned to Canada in 1894 and again in 1897 residing in Vancouver before leaving for Dawson City. He occasionally returned to England for visits before permanently putting roots down in Los Angeles, California.
