Visited the Bell Farm on April 6, 1885 - George R. Harris of Boston, a member of Blake Brothers and Co, sat on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Pacific Railway and was a member of the party that "drove the last spike" of the Canadian Pacific Railway.

(Part of a party of financiers who visited the Bell Farm on April 6, 1885 including: Adolphe Boissevain, George Harris, John Tupper, Gerrit Vis, and Daniel Boissevain.) Boissevain's Dutch investment firm had ties with Harris' company.
