Register entry 137 - George Blundell Longstaff
Visited the Bell Farm on Sept. 23, 1884 - George Blundell Longstaff (1849-1921) was an entomologist, author, local politician, and a member of the British Association delegation that visited the Bell Farm on Sept 23 1884. He married his first wife - Sara Leam Dixon - in 1875; and his second wife - Mary Jane Donald - in 1906.
In 1912 he published a book entitled: Butterfly-hunting in many lands - Notes of a field naturalist.
