Register entry 089 - Salter Mountain Jarvis
Visited the Bell Farm in September 1884 - Col. Salter M. Jarvis (Queen’s Own Rifles) was the Public Notary for the NWT and the son of George Stephen Jarvis, who's first wife was Julia Sherwood, was Major Bell's aunt. He was one of the original investors in the Bell Farm and visited the Bell Farm with his wife Jennie on Sept. 3, 1884. They list their residence as Qu'Appelle.
