Register entry 062 - John Henry Fairbank


Visited the Bell Farm in August 1884 - John Henry Fairbank (1831-1914) was an Ontario banker and in his time was the top producer of crude oil in Canada. Fairbank succeeded former Prime Minister Alexander Mackenzie as the MP for the federal riding of Lambton. He visited the Bell Farm on August 20, 1884.
