2008 - Original Bell Barn window - exterior view

30 June 2006 - One of 36 windows that provided light for the barn interior from 1882 until about 1923. The original small 8 x 8 inch square windows were largely replaced in the early 1920s, when this horse barn was converted for cattle use. Larger windows were necessary to provide greater light for milking the cows.

This window was covered with plywood at least as early as 1980.
