EBERHARD, Julius
Visited the Bell Farm in 1883 in company with Dr. Max Sering, both from Germany.
Julius Eberhard, of Reutlingen, Germany, arrived in Canada in 1881 as part of a German agricultural delegation and then worked alongside the immigration agent in Brandon, Thomas Bennet, as his German speaking assistant. He left that position in 1884 and returned to Germany at the request of his parents.
In 1883 he also accompanied Dr. Max Sering on a tour of the West. That tour was reported in the July 12 issue of the "Regina Leader", indicating approximately when these two men would have visited the Bell Farm.
