1910s - Major Bell, left, with white hat and cane, at a rifle shooting match


Probably ca. 1910 in Winnipeg. Major Bell was a regular attendee at and participant in rifle shoots throughout Canada and sometimes in England. He won many prizes and was well-known for his marksmanship. Some of his trophies and medals are now housed at the Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame in Regina, Sask.
