1900s - Major Bell, far left, with five business friends

Possibly taken in Winnipeg - Major Bell, far left, with five unidentified men, possibly members of the Qu'Appelle Valley Farming Company, or just friends who have gathered for a social get-together and an opportunity to have this group photo taken.

After considerable research, we have found photos of several Winnipeg men who might be among this group, based on photos taken at a later date. From left to right, we have assigned the following names. If you are aware of any errors or can verify our conjecture, please contact us.

Left to Right:
(1) Major William Robert Bell (1845-1913) – confirmed (Manitoba Club member: 1882-1913) – no doubt about this identification, as we have lots of images of Major Bell on file.
(2) Walter Frederick Payne (1863-1930) – possibly ?
(3) _________ - unknown
(4) Thomas William Taylor (1852-1924) – possibly ?
(5) Walter Reginald Baker (1852-1929) – possibly ? - (Manitoba Club member: 1881- ____)
(6) John Haffner (1848-1921) – possibly ?
