Register entry 292 - Primrose McConnell


Visited the Bell Farm with the Tenant-Farmer Delegates on Oct 3, 1890 - Primrose McConnell (1856-1931), lived at Dial House, Essex, England, and was a tenant farmer and the author of The Agricultural Notebook (1883), which was once recognized as a standard reference work for the European farming industry.

In 1890, McConnell accompanied the Tenant-Farmer Delegation to Canada, although he is not recorded as an official delegate. There is no information on his travel times and arrangements.
