Register entry 284 - Janie Allan


Visited the Bell Farm with her family on September 17, 1890 - Janie Allan (1868-1968) visited the Bell Farm with her parents,sister and brother on Sept 17th 1890 and spent a week in Indian Head. Janie's father, Alexander Allan, was an owner in the Allan Steamship Lines and Janie,a militant Scottish suffragette, used her wealth to help fund the early women's movement.
