Visited the Bell Farm on September 21, 1885 - The Marquis of Lansdowne, Governor General of Canada from 1883 to 1888, visited the Bell Farm on September 21, 1885, a few months after the North-West Rebellion had been concluded. His signature appears simply as LANSDOWNE in the Visitors Register.
