Visited the Bell Farm on Aug. 14, 1884 - David MacArthur, (1849-1928) was born in Nairn, Scotland a brother of Alexander, Duncan, James and Peter MacArthur, who all migrated to Winnipeg starting in 1872 and remained their for over half a century mainly dealing with banking and other financial enterprises.
