- Guy Lafond (1953-2013)
Bell Barn Society supporter, and Board Member (2012-2013) (Photo by Bruce Neill) - For three decades Dr. Guy Lafond specialized in the science of agricultural research at the Indian Head Experimental Farm, and developed a world-wide reputation for his agricultural knowledge. A strong community supporter, he also assisted the Bell Barn Society during various functions, and joined the Board of Directors in 2012. He died of cancer on April 26, 2013.
- HALL, Evelyn - Bell Farm resident
Lived on the Bell Farm from 1884 and 1887 - Evelyn Hall was born on the Bell Farm in 1884, and lived there with her parents - William and Sophie Hall, until 1887, when the family moved to the Dominion Experimental Farm. She later moved to the family farm west of Sintaluta, and went on to become a registered nurse. (The WGH crest - for the Winnipeg General Hospital where she studied - is evident on her left arm.) She married __________ in 19 _____, and died in 1977. Research by Marion Fleming, Lethbridge, Alberta, and Frank Korvemaker, Regina, Sask.
- Hidden Creek Ranch Mule Wagon ride at the Horse Fair
16 Aug 2015 - Photo by: Kay Dixon - A wagon and mules provided by the Hidden Creek Ranch takes people around the Bell Barn site during the annual Horse Fair. Mules were used by Major Bell on his farm throughout the 14 years he lived at Indian Head: 1882 - 1896.
